From physical body to the emotional state. Floatation is a key ingredient to a healthy and happy pregnancy.
In the US and parts of Europe, Floatation Therapy is more popular now than ever before for pregnant woman. During pregnancy, a woman’s body goes through many changes. First there is the extra gravitational tension on the body, then the contentious worrying about the future, and added to that all the hormones. Floatation with its relief on achy joints and muscles meanwhile being weightless, is a way to maintain a healthy mind and body for the expecting mothers.

Jasin is a hard core floater and floats at Floatasian Float Spa as often as his busy schedule allows him to. My first float experience was five years ago at Floatlab, Venice Beach California with world renowned Float Guru Crash. It was an awesome experience, and I've been a fan ever since.
Floatation has changed my life completely. Right after the first time I tried floating I knew this was something I would need to do regularly to live a happy life and solve the problems coming my way. So I had two choices, either I become a member of the nearest float center for the rest of my life and live the normal life outside the float tank sessions, or I dedicate my whole life to float and share the opportunity with others. I´m sure the first option would have been a great way to live. But I was/ still am very into this so I chose the later. Now I have floated hundreds of times and each float is giving me new experiences.
"I am definitely into what we call the 'Floats'." Stephen Curry, the MVP of the Golden State Warriors, is explaining how sitting in a tank for an hour improves his game and does good to himself. For him, floatation provides a place to get unplugged from all noise and distractions and helps with recovery and relaxation as well.READ MORE
Although Floating is easy and everyone can benefit from floatation therapy, it will take a couple of float sessions before you get really good at it.
There are a few common mistakes that first time floaters make. Here is a short guide on how to avoid them.
First time you float there is a chance that it will be a bit hard for you to relax fully. You will need some time to adjust to the unfamiliarity of lying in a tank experiencing weightlessness for the first time. The second time you float you will be familiar with everything and it will be much easier to relax. It is of course individual how long time it will take to reach a deeper state of relaxation. The important part to remember is that if you don´t love floatation the first time you try. Try it at least one more time before you give up!
Some are lucky and get an amazing experience already during their first float. Those customers come out in the relax area with a big smile on their face looking natural high. They usually need to sit alone for a while and just enjoy. A couple of minutes later they usually want to share with us what they have just experienced. Those moments are the best.
In our tanks you float in a mix of 600 liters of water and 450 kg of Epsom salt. Sometimes you start to sweat or have an itch on your face and you want to scratch it. Don´t do it! The salty water will sting your eyes and ruin the relaxing state you are in. Even though we always tell our customers to avoid this, it happens more often than you would think. For this reason we have put a towel inside the tank so that you can wipe the water off fast and continue floating.
When was the last time you went a whole day without hearing the sound of construction, cars honking, tires squealing or someone talking very loud on a cellphone next to your ear?
Shanghai is still one of the fastest growing cities In the world. so the constructions will continue. Old houses are torn to make room for new bigger buildings and malls. With a population of over 23 million and and an annual growth rate of 3,11% there is of course a need for more apartments. But this also means that the construction will not stop and if you are unlucky you will be suffering from the noise for a long time.
More people mean more cars and more traffic jams leading to more honking. It is an easy equation. Taking the metro should be better but then there are so many people there as well. The stress of not getting anywhere in the crowds of people slowly moving forward like a heard of sheep in the catacombs between stations can really induce stress when you are late for work.
